Eecorpse is a young artist, fully matured as an illustrator and painter. His curiosity has driven him, since childhood, to explore every possible new form of artistic expression. He is fueled by a fierce passion for discovery, art, music, and poetry, inspired by the gritty character of London underground subcultures such as Glam Rock, Punk Rock, and the raw energy of New York late 60s scene. His frequent travels around the world, especially to places he feels deeply connected to in the heart of Europe between Berlin, Munich, and Nice ignite his creative fire. There’s a place that holds a special role in Eecorpse’s life: London. He often spends significant time in the British capital, living through ever-evolving and thrilling experiences. His chameleonic nature allows him to shift seamlessly from one genre to another, with his writing changing instantly depending on his emotions and intentions. Legends like David Bowie, T. Rex, The Cramps, and New York Dolls are the pillars of his daily and artistic life, always connecting sound with vision, constantly reinventing himself and his works, often using his body as an infinite canvas.

Biography

Born in a small seaside town in northern Tuscany, he showed a remarkable talent for drawing from a very young age. Thanks to his family’s connections and social circles, he met the Italian painter Ernesto Treccani during family vacations in Versilia. The two formed an unusual but incredibly strong friendship that lasted until the death of the elderly and ailing Treccani. This bond had a profound impact on the young artist, who fully embraced the graphic arts, such as drawing and writing, with occasional explorations into sculpture and engraving. The young Eecorpse often accompanied his drawings with writings that blended poetry and nursery rhyme styles, sometimes even brief stories. As he grew older, likely influenced by a restless spirit shaped by turbulent life experiences that left a lasting mark, his work took on increasingly dark, somber, and introspective tones yet he seemed to fit perfectly within this aesthetic. The defining moment in establishing a strong and decisive philosophical and artistic identity came when he stumbled upon music during an evening out, discovering the works of the legendary British artist David Bowie. Bowie’s chameleonic nature sparked an insatiable search for the new, leading him to explore thousands of artists across music, literature, theater, cinema, and visual arts. Among his most influential icons are Lindsay Kemp, Edvard Munch, George Orwell, Bruce Springsteen, and Edgar Allan Poe. Thanks to the passion for travel instilled in him from an early age by his maternal grandparents, he began taking short trips around Europe at just 15 years old, often traveling alone and eventually falling in love with London. Since 2017, the English capital has frequently welcomed him, and its vibrant, multicultural environment has significantly influenced his work. At the beginning of 2024, he finally started producing his own music, pairing his countless writings with melodies he composed himself.

Education

He initially pursued linguistic studies before making a drastic shift towards an entirely artistic path. After graduating from an art high school, he completed a degree in graphic design and illustration. Starting in high school, latent struggles with substances such as drugs and alcohol began to emerge, causing repercussions in his personal, professional, and academic relationships. However, he eventually managed to find a way to make that complex mechanism "known as life”work as he grew older. Finally he affirmed his linguistic knowledge by studying in London, achieving a maximum qualification in the English language.
